“Gresham” - written and recorded on a holiday trip to Oregon. This one’s a little sloppy. Again, I should transcribe this so I can play it more often, maybe near a better tape recorder?

7 months ago“Allison’s World” — this one came out of improvisations for my daughter when I would play her to sleep with the piano at night. It’s a lullabye without words then, but it probably won’t be on the record.
7 months agoThat’s the new working title for the kid’s record. We’ll see it if changes along the way — it does seem more like a second or third album title doesn’t it? Nobody else use it now.
7 months agoAh what the heck here’s another one from that movie, the funky “SuperG Hallway Strut”
7 months agoHere’s one of my pocket favorites, one of the arrangements of a theme for a short film called “SuperGasper” I did a couple years ago.
7 months agoHere’s another instrumental for your listening pleasure. A little rougher around the edges I think, though I love the middle bit. No name at all for this one, let’s call it “Heidi sleeps” for now, to replace its catchier early title “Dmaj7 to G”
sorry, working out the bugs and putting posts in the proper blog
7 months ago7 months agoI call this one Opal’s Exodus, from a mono recording a few years back. I don’t remember how to play it, in fact, I really should write it down sometime. In the meantime, it’s ©2009 David Watson All Rights Reserved. I expect to start using the Creative Commons license shortly, but we are just getting started here, working the bugs out, maybe post a song a week - I could do a song a day if I rely on my copious backlog of mixed quality improvs and recordings plus occasional new stuff, but even that I think might soon run out, or run out its welcome. We’ll see.
Working on a kid’s album with updates to be posted here. Stay - what’s the web word for “tuned”? ”posted”?
